A beautiful cluster of dark purple fluorite crystals on matrix from a classic location in Greece. The fluorite itself fluoresces another shade of purple under UV light. The purple fluorite and botryoidal calcite seem to be of a second generation of growth, as there is a base of colorless to blue fluorite as a matrix. The purple fluorite has a thin coating of iron oxide, primarily on the side.
