This crystal is UV reactive, although it's reaction is not very strong.

These Mexican fluorites have a velvety texture to them, an almost chatoyant attribute in the way light hits and bends around the tiny cubes.

"The mine name translates to "Nativity" (Christmas) Mine. "Mina Abasolo" and "Mina Rodeo" are misnomers derived from the name of the nearest village and municipality. Arguably, using both Abasolo and Rodeo in addition to Municipality of Rodeo is confusing. 35 km NW of Rodeo."
