Beautiful, hand selected Cobaltoan calcite! Often called pink calcite, it is also called Salrose as they are often cobalt bearing dolomite or calcite. Noting the difference between the two can be quite difficult. As such, they have been given names to refer to both, Cobaltoan or Salrose. It often grows in close association to Malachite or other copper based material and green veins can be noted frequently, but not always.

Their color can range from dark wine red to hot pink. They can also range from a micro crystalline druzy like nature to optic crystals, though this is quite rare.
