Chiredzi is known for producing darker smoky amethyst type crystals that are very similar to Brandbergs. They're often laced with Lepidocrocite inclusions (they show up as red specular lines) and are quite stunning and beautiful. They are generally rather small but the locals have been receiving training to improve their mining practices to improve yield and condition. They are relatively new, with specimens starting to come into the market as of 2018.
